Our first release Tawny cask was distilled in early 2022 and placed in a barrique which has held 20 year old port from the Swan Valley.
It’s an absolute cracker of a dram and demonstrates all the flavour you would expect from a traditional port style whisky – caramel, blackcurrants, syrupy fruits and a hint of vanilla. Sweeter and more bombastic in flavour, we have broken it down to 44% just to add a bit more depth to the spirit.
Great to be enjoyed straight, but it really opens up with a few drops of water or on ice. We are delighted with how it has turned out, and certainly one for those with a sweeter tooth or looking for a more traditional style whisky.
