Our Pinot Cask matured whisky has been seasoned in a premium French Oak barrique which has held Pinot Noir wine from our friends at Picardy in Pemberton.
Given its aging in a red wine barrel, it imparts an elegant red fruit flavour, but is well balanced with a strong malt undertones. As one of our oldest whiskies to be released to date, we are delighted with its smoothness and complexity.
Once described by someone who may have tried too much of it as a ‘summer whisky’, its slightly drier finish makes for enjoyable savouring that isn’t overpowered by sweetness.
