WORLD WHISKY AWARDS 2026 – SILVER – Single Malt
Our Tawny Cask matured whisky is a dram that demonstrates all the flavour you would expect from a traditional port style whisky – caramel, blackcurrants, syrupy fruits and a hint of vanilla. Sweet with a lingering fruit aftertaste, our distiller’s have elected to bottle at 44% just to add a bit more depth to the spirit.
Great to be enjoyed straight, but it really opens up with a few drops of water or on ice. A more traditional style of whisky to be enjoyed by those with a sweeter tooth or looking for a lighter, more accessible spirit.
Tasting notes from the World Whisky Awards – “Juicy notes of plum and cherry syrup combine with cooked apple and orange on the nose and a little touch of pecan pie. The warm palate gains some light dried fruit and chocolate which continue onto the medium finish.“
